This is a painting of Brian Jones- the guitarist and founder member of the biggest band in the world ‘The Rolling Stones’ (see the News Page where I did this painting for Pat Andrews, Brian Jones’ ex girlfriend and mother of his child). It is painted from a picture of Brian in the mid 60’s. This painting is done in black, white and shades of brown/ beige on stretched canvas in a contemporary style. The painting shows a sensitive side of his character that not so many people saw as he famously died (or was killed) in 1969 in his swimming pool. All of these facts made him an icon in music history.
