Elvis
Presley, 'the King', not much more needs to be said
however, this painting says a whole lot more. I painted
this from a photograph, which is moody and more of a
decisive moment than the images normally found where
he is posing or smiling. This painting shows the thought,
and the depth of character, which I wanted to capture.
We all see Elvis in glamorous/ perfect poses, however,
I feel, this shows Elvis in a more natural light. I
used black, white and shades of grey for the classic
look. This is a stunning painting is the perfect centre
piece for any fan or lover of classic paintings.
