Sid Vicious, All For Anarchy
This
painting sums up not just the Sex Pistols but the whole
Punk era, simply a classic painting of the icon 'Sid
Vicious'. It shows Sid with his trademark style and
look, like a lot of the other paintings on this site
it is just a classic image. It is done in a contemporary
style in black, white and two shades of pink to give
it that all important 'Punk Look' on stretched canvas.
The overall look is very striking, Sid might have died
in 1979 but this painting makes memories of him live
on.
