Lone Gun
Here is a painting of the legendary former guitarist
from Guns n Roses 'Slash'. He is unmistakeable with
the top hat and long curly hair. I have used a lot of
shade and minimal lighting, to highlight and bring out
the key features of this modern icon. The jaunty cigarette
hanging from the side of his mouth with smoke rising
from it if the icing on the cake for that rock n roll
look. I used black, white and shades of grey, finished
off with a glowing red background that shows the edge
of his hat, fading to black. This is a bold and striking
painting that makes a statement.
